Halloween night

Halloween night was a huge success for our kids. They got to go with a few of their friends and collected enough candy to last for an entire year. Chase was a little exhausted towards the end of the night and didn't quite make it home to fully enjoy his stash. Landon on the other hand was more than ready to dig in and celebrate.

Landon's school parade

These are pictures of Landon at his school's Halloween party and parade. The pictures on the steps of the school are of all the Kindergarten classes in the school. Landon's class was nice enough to let Chase participate in all of the party activities and he loved every minute of it.

Pumpkin carving

These are the pumpkins that the kids helped carve for Halloween. They had a lot of fun scraping out "the guts" of the pumpkin. I think they used words like, "Ew Gross!" and "My hands are slimy" during the nights event. All in all they were very pleased with the outcome.

Kirkwood walk

These are pics from the annual Kirkwood Walk. It started out freezing and raining, but it takes a lot more than that to stop Spider Man and Optimus Prime, except of course for the 5 minute car ride that put Optimus to sleep. The Kirkwood walk takes place along the main street in Kirkwood where everyone from the community can trick-or-treat all the small shops along the way. The boys had a great time and the weather didn't end up to be all that bad.

Flag Football

OK everyone, I am definitely in a house full of boys. All they talk about around here is football and now Bryce has converted Landon to the game. Every day Landon asks if it's a football day (Sat. or Sun.) so he can watch a game with his dad. Landon always goes for whoever is ahead at that time. Here in Kirkwood we are lucky enough to have flag football start at Kindergarten age. Landon chose to play this instead of soccer this year and is loving it. He plays a few positions when he goes, but he loves running back the best. You can imagine the organization in a flag football game with 20 kids, kindergarten to 2nd grade trying to play.
