Marshmallow Guns...

My dad made these guns that shoot mini marshmallows one afternoon for my kids. They LOVED them and what an awesome idea!
They yard was covered with marshmallows by the end of the battle!

We took some up to Bryce's family reunion and what a hit they were there too!

Playn' at the Park...

Nothing like a dogs tail wagging you in the face to brighten your day!

Have I mentioned that Brady LOVES dogs? Well, he does!

This little cutie is taken! I'm officially speaking for her for Landon!
She lives next to my little sister and she is darling!

What would an afternoon at the park be without a snow cone stop to follow?

She may kill me, but I couldn't resist! She was the cutest pego ever and I just love this belly shot of my little sis about 3 weeks before she had her little princess Vivi.

Landon's 9th Birthday!

We went here for lunch...

Despite the look on Chase's face... they all loved it!

"The Karate Kid"... The new favorite movie!

Birthday cake #1 up at the mountain

Birthday cake #2 at Papa's

Landon LOVES sports! His fav right now is football. The kid can talk sports with the best of them... all his uncles! He knows all the players and teams and anything you need to know. Every year he does fantasy football with Bryce and all his co-workers. The Dr's there expect him now to join in every year.
He has more energy than any of us know what to do with!
Landon can talk trash with the best of them... again, his uncles! It's so funny to listen to all of them together!
He is the sweetest kid when he want to be and in those moment it's the BEST!
Happy Birthday Buddy!

Hangin' with the Haslem's...

We obviously spent A LOT of time with family while we were home... in fact that's all we did! It was so nice to see everyone and do all the things together that my family usually misses out on living so far away. We spent some nights up at Bryce's family's mountain property doing a lot of the following...

Chase would live off of watermelon if we let him!

Hanging out around the camp fire

We saw a lot of these around the area...
BEARS!

Four wheeling is a favorite among the kids

Besties... these two were MADE for eachother!

This last one was obviously not taken up at the mountain. Kailey turned 12 this summer and she had this huge slide set up for her birthday party. All the cousins were lucky enough to get to come over after all the friends had gone home and have some time going down it. It was so much fun! The kids had a blast!

4th of July Celebrations

We had a full day celebrating the 4th. The day always starts at the Provo City Parade. We usually don't stay for the entire thing, but we always at least have to make an appearance. It so fun to see old neighbors and friends there!

The grandkids in attendance + Papa

The second my older brother showed up my kids were all over him to buy them some cotton candy! They talked him into it!

What would the 4th be without some fireworks?! My little sis invited us over to her neighborhood for their annual "Cul-de-sac of Fire"

Chase, Landon, and Fisher
My boys want a dog SO bad! Can't wait to move home so they
can play with this one whenever they want and I don't have to clean up after him!

Going Home!

Tomorrow I leave for Utah for the whole month of July and I can't wait!
Since starting Residency (and moving to the hardest place to get a flight out of) trips home are pretty rare.
Bryce left with the two older boys today for a two day drive and I was lucky enough to get to fly with the little man tomorrow afternoon.
Can't wait to see family and friends and hopefully I'll come back with a lot of pictures and spend another two hours updating this blog in August!
Hope to see some of you there!

By the way: I broke my phone last week and had to get a new one so all my contacts were lost.
Please text or call me so I can update them!

Visit from Kawa's

We were SO excited to have these guys come through on their way to Cleavland. We went to Medical school with this family in St. Louis and will be life long friends. They are starting a GI fellowship in OH and stopped for a couple hours for a break and a BBQ. Landon and Barrett were best friends when we lived there and they just picked up right where they left off. It was so cute to listen to the two of them talk about growing up and going to the same school someday and having their dad's work together. I can't wait until we're neighbors again someday and can do these BBQ's all the time!
Thanks for stopping by!

Chase, Landon, Brady, Paige, Barrett, & Tanner

WT... I know!
It was SO hot that day and we had just finished dinner where he had gotten watermelon all over himself so we stripped him down.
He's still dang cute!

Just love this one... this kid LOVES his daddy!

Trip to AZ and St. George

We were lucky enough to get to take a little vacation to Arizona a few weeks ago and see Bryce's brother Jake and his family be sealed in the Mesa Temple.
That was the first family sealing I had been to and it was so amazing. I'm so glad Jake and Jami wanted us to be a part of it!

Following our couple days in AZ we headed to St. George for some swimming and some fun!
Every morning we would get up and the first thing we would do was head to the pool for some swimming and some sun. There was a basketball court right next to the pool where the boys would also spend a lot of time playing.
In the afternoon when babies would go down for naps all the kids would go to the theater room and watch a movie. I think "The Tooth-fairy" was a favorite.

Brady LOVES the water and was so cute in the pool!

Notice he still has a hold of that squirt gun from the picture above and he's being thrown around.

Sydney and Sammy... Cute Sammy is always posing for the camera. :)

Haydyn and her floaties. This girl has NO fear of the water!

These guys were either loving one another or hating one another....
it changed every minute!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

But instead of peanuts and crackerjacks... we do granola bars, capri-suns, and whatever else we can find!

This one was especially a trooper during these nights!
The one thing we could count on to occupy this little one during those last few innings was something to eat. He just starting to feed himself and I LOVE it! It's so much easier to just hand him something and let him go to town. He makes a mess, but it's worth it!

Not to mention a little entertainment on the third base line...
